During the past 45 years Tom Fitts has been involved with all phases of the construction process.  He has been extensively involved with the Design/Build process on numerous industrial facilities. In addition, he has managed the construction of several multi-million dollar institutional projects.

Thomas L. Galin, P.E. – Project Manager

Experience

Tom Galin started his career working in the civil engineering design and surveying field. Since 1976 he has worked directly in the general contracting business as a field engineer, project manager and estimator. Tom has been involved in a wide variety of projects, with extensive experience with hospital facilities, office buildings, bank facilities and tenant upfittings.

Thomas Fitts worked on numerous construction projects while attending high school and college. He began estimating and project managing with Fitts & Goodwin in his junior year at Clemson University. Since that time, he has managed an array of projects including bottling facilities, food processing facilities and advanced manufacturing facilities.

Joel Dutton has worked in the construction industry since 1997. Prior to joining Fitts & Goodwin, he started Core Construction and developed it into a company that specialized in public sector projects.

Robert Lee Bedenbaugh – Project Manager

Lee Bedenbaugh has 29 years of experience in the construction industry with a wide range of responsibilities. His construction background includes a variety of multi-million dollar ground-up projects that include industrial facilities, residence halls, public school facilities, libraries facilities and recreational facilities.

Ashton Estridge

Ashton Estridge – Project Manager

Experience

Ashton Estridge has worked in the construction industry since 1995. He has experience in commercial and residential construction as well as heavy civil construction. He has completed several LEED certified projects and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Jeff Burgess has 20 years in economic development specializing in business relations, industrial recruitment, business retention and expansion, strategic planning, downtown revitalization projects, and speculative building programs.  He is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and a graduate of the South Carolina Economic Developers’ Advanced Symposium.
